William L. Bosley
William L. Bosley, CCIM, CPM, a holder of the Institute of Real Estate Management's highest professional designation, the Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation, has a long successful history in real estate management.
He has personally managed all types of residential and commercial real estate, having started his management career in Los Angeles California in 1977. He continued his career in Toronto Canada as Director of Property Management for a firm with management clients throughout southern Ontario, New York and Ohio. Moving to South Carolina in 1982, he was directly responsible for creating SVN/Bosley Asset Management, on Hilton Head Island, S.C.
Mr. Bosley has also been awarded the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation by the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute. The CCIM designation is earned upon completion of a graduate-level curriculum and attainment of a level of qualifying experience. CCIMs are recognized experts in commercial real estate brokerage, leasing, asset management, valuation, and investment analysis, and form a business network encompassing 1,000 markets throughout the world. Approximately 8,000 professionals currently hold the CCIM designation, with another 5,000 practitioners pursuing it.
Active in community and trade associations, he has served as President of the Hilton Head Island Association of Realtors, President of the Low Country Property Management Association, and an Instructor for the Institute of Real Estate Management in the United States as well as The Real Estate Institute of Canada. Mr. Bosley has also served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Hilton Head Island Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Hilton Head Island Rotary Club.
